IOSM Level 4 Award in HAZOP and HAZID in Oil & Gas
Programme Overview
This qualification has been designed to give the learner all of the information they will require to perform suitable and sufficient Hazop Studies & Hazard Identification Techniques within their own working environment.
The first part of this course will be focused on Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP). The second part will be focused on Hazard Identification Techniques.
Practical examples will be covered on Hazop Studies in some of the oil & gas projects.
Progression
Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners may wish to continue their development via the completion of any of the following signposted qualifications/training:
Any Applied Health and Safety Course
Entry Requirement
There are no prerequisites for this qualification however it is strongly advised that learners already hold the
Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace, or equivalent.
Learning Outcome
The learner will:

Gain knowledge of the Hazid Techniques
Be aware of the Hazop Studies requirements set out by your company
Understand Hazard identification and control via the hierarchy of risk management
